There are many different kinds of Personal Insurance Policies; Life, whole life or term, income protection, disability, dental, supplemental drug coverage.

You can buy policies for unique and hard-to-find items. For animals, horses or pets, Recreational Vehicles, campers, boats, antiques, sports athletes or sports events, individual or team travel, backtracking and anything else you want. If you own it, someone can sell you a policy for it!
 
You can also buy all sorts of personal policies, Life, Whole Life or Term, if you can think of it, someone can sell you a policy to cover it. The IBC is the National Trade Association that represents the companies that insure the homes, cars and businesses of Canadians.
